US Presidential Elections 2016 statewise final result

WASHINGTON (APP): Republican Donald Trump has won the US presidency with at least 290 electoral votes, securing more than the 270 he needed to succeed Barack Obama.

It was a crushing defeat for his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, who now has 228 electoral votes after US television networks projected Wednesday she had won the northern state of Minnesota.

The following is a list of the states won by each candidate and the corresponding number of electoral votes, based on the networks' projections.

The only states not yet called are Michigan and New Hampshire.
