"Made in Pakistan" exhibition held at Almaty, Kazakhstan

ISLAMABAD (APP): Abdul Salik Khan, Pakistan Ambassador to Almaty, Kazakhstan and Jitindar Cheema, Regional Director of USAID Mission in Central Asia jointly inaugurated "Pakistan's First Single Country Exhibition - Made In Pakistan" at Attakent Exhibition Centre, Almaty Kazakhstan on Thursday.

Pakistan to participate in Arms and Security 2016 exhibition in Kiev 

The event is scheduled from November 10-13,2016, a message received here from Almaty Kazakistan Today said.

The exhibition was jointly organized by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Haripur Chamber of Commerce (HCC) with the financial support of USAID, Pakistan.

In the exhibition, 42 stalls have been established and exportable products from all sectors i.e. textile, furniture, handicrafts, towel pharmaceutical, sports, carpets, cutlery, rice, leather goods, herbal and beauty products have been displayed.

Abdul Salik Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Kazakhstan in his inaugural speech welcomed the Pakistani exhibitors and praised the role of USAID, TDAP and HCC for organizing the first "Made in Pakistan Exhibition" in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

He termed it a positive step to develop sustainable trade relations not only between two countries but entire region.

The role of USAID in extending financial support to exhibitors is extremely commendable and technical support to exhibitors by TDAP has made this event possible despite so many difficulties.

He also said this kind of events will not only develop the trade relations between both the nations but will also build people to people linkages.

Jitandar Cheema, Regional Director USAID Mission in Central Asia, in her speech especially thanked Pakistan Embassy, TDAP and HCC for making efforts in organizing the event.

She vowed to continue financial and other support for such kind of events in future as well.

She also praised the role of USAID Pakistan in organization of the event.

The exhibitors from Pakistan are also satisfied due to overwhelming response from the public and huge number of people are visiting and buying Pakistani products.

Kazakhstan people have shown interests in the all the products especially textile, handicrafts, towels, herbal and beauty products.
