Supreme Court snubs PML-N stalwarts

ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court of Pakistan has snubbed the PML-N stalwarts for remarks against the apex court proceedings.

The Supreme court of Pakistan reprimanded blunt members of ruling Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz Haneef Abbasi and Danyal Aziz for expressing concerns regarding discrimination by the apex court.

According to media reports, both the political stalwarts while talking to newsmen had expressed that the apex court did discrimination regarding cases against prime minister Nawaz Sharif and PTI chief Imran Khan. They had said that Imran Khan would also be disqualified equally provided justice is served.

However, the chief justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar summoned both the leaders on the rostrum today and inquired about their objection of discrimination.

To clarify his statement before the three-member bench, Danyal Aziz replied that he was talking about the cases currently being heard by the election commission of Pakistan.

‘No such statement would be tolerated in future. The institutions should be strengthened and entrusted with’ remarked Mian Saqib Nisar.
