Federal government preparing National Framework for developing social protection policies for lower ratio of poverty

ISLAMABAD - The government is preparing a National Framework for Developing Social Protection Policies to lower ratio of poverty in the country.
The draft framework will be completed soon and presented for approval of competent forum.
The authorities concerned are also re-prioritizing Public Sector Development Programme to focus more on pro-poor projects and projects for less developed areas.
As part of its initiative for revival of forestry resources in the country, the government is also pursuing objective of conserving mangrove forests under Mangroves for Future Programme.
