UN Rights official calls for referring Myanmar to ICC for Rohingya crimes

The top United Nations human rights official has called on UN General Assembly to refer alleged atrocities committed against Rohingya Muslim in Myanmar to International Criminal Court for prosecution.
During a news conference in Geneva, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein urged Myanmar’s government to allow monitors into northern Rakhine state to investigate suspected acts of genocide against Muslim minority. APP/AFP
