Asif Zardari may get into serious trouble

ISLAMABAD: A district and sessions court in the federal capital has sought a reply from the police over the arrest of Former president Asif Ali Zardari for making anti-Army remarks in 2015.

A hearing on the petition filed by a citizen, Faseehullah, was held on Saturday. 

The petitioner has stated that Zardari issued threats to the former army chief, General (retd) Raheel Sharif, and the military establishment during a speech on June 16, 2015. 

In the speech, Zardari had also alleged that the former army chief had been supporting the head of a Lyari gang, Uzair Baloch, as per the petition.
