WASHINGTON: United States says it supports an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace negotiations. Speaking at joint press conference with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in Kabul, U.S.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the United States will facilitate peace talks that include discussions of role of international actors and forces. Meanwhile, Taliban say they are ready to talk with United States over Afghan crisis but not with Afghan government or its High Peace Council.
