FBR records provisional net revenue collection of over Rs 3751b

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has recorded a provisional net revenue collection of over 3751 billion rupees during fiscal year 2017-18.
According to a statement of FBR, this collection is 11.4 percent higher than 3,368 billion rupees collected during fiscal year 2016-17.
It said that annual assigned revenue targets for Inland Revenue Service were 3,335 billion rupees and for Customs 600 billion rupees respectively.
Whereas, Customs has surpassed its target by 6 billion rupees and Inland Revenue fell short by 190 billion rupees.
