No quarrel with judiciary, differences with some judges: Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he has no quarrel with the judiciary, but has differences with some judges.

Addressing lawyers on Tuesday, he said: “If the judges were against me they should have clearly told me that they dislike my face.”

The PML-N president said that he had been punished and the accusation was being searched now.

“I cannot be intimidated. We are standing for the principle and the people are with me,” he maintained.

Criticizing the judges, he said that the court had disrespected and sent home those serving the masses. “The court gave a certificate of being ‘Sadiq’ and ‘Ameen’ to a man who had admitted his assets,” he said.

He presented a salute to the judges pronouncing the judgment.
