Pakistan Stock Exchange registers significant rise on Monday

ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Stock Exchange was bullish on Monday.

The KSE-100 Index closed today at 39299.63 points as compared to 38562.05 points on the last working day with a positive change of 737.58 points.

The total turnover was 154,173,040 as compared to 128,530,450 on the last working day with K-Electric Ltd having the highest turnover of 34,681,500.

Total 356 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 242 recorded gains and 93 sustained losses whereas the share price of 21 companies remained unchanged.

Philip Morris Pak. recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 60.55 rupees while Rafhan Maize recorded maximum decrease that was 339.99 rupees.
