ISLAMABAD - An Indian diplomat walked out of a meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) here on Sunday over the presence of a Azad Jammu and Kashmir minister.
News agency *PTI* quoted a source as saying that Shubham Singh, an official of the Indian High Commission in Pakistan, registered his protest by walking out from the meeting.
Singh reacted after learning that AJK minister Chaudhary Muhammad Saeed was also taking part in the SAARC Chambers of Commerce and Industry meeting. The meeting was organised here on the occasion of SAARC Charter Day. You May Like link Cancer Symptoms You Are Probably IgnoringStay Fit, Stay Active link
The Indian government considers AJK as its integral part and has refused to recognise any minister. It may be recalled that India had pulled out of the 2016 SAARC Summit in Islamabad following the terror attack on an Indian Army camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir.
