ISLAMABAD Veteran Pakistani Batsman Shoaib Malik breaks windows panes with his startling sixes in T20 Blast being held in Canada.
Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik reminded the world of his power hitting when he broke two window glasses with his sixes during the qualifier match between Vancouver Knights and Brampton Wolves in GT20 Canada on Thursday.
Malik, who is representing Vancouver Knights, first hit leg-spinner Ish Sodhi for a 68-meter maximum in the 13th over to smash the first window. He followed that up with another six of left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz’s bowling in the 16th over, which destroyed the other window glass at the CAA Centre in Brampton.
The 37-year-old, who is yet to be dismissed in the tournament, scored an unbeaten 46 runs from 26 balls to help his side muster a total of 170-4 in 16 overs. His innings included four fours and three sixes.
