PM Imran Khan receives special message of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman

ISLAMABAD - Saudi Information Minister Dr Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad has delivered a special message from the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman to Pakistani PM Imran Khan .

Saudi minister called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Sunday. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was also present on the occasion.

The minister conveyed a message of felicitation to Prime Minister Imran Khan on behalf of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman and extended an invitation to the PM to visit Saudi Arabia.

Saudi crown prince has shown keen interest in enhancing relations with PM Khan led PTI government in Islamabad.

Awwad Bin Saleh Alawwad also conveyed felicitation of Saudi crown prince to Imran Khan on assuming the office of prime minister of Pakistan.

Earlier, the Saudi minister called upon the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi.

The visiting minister lauded strong relations between Riyadh and Islamabad and assured Pakistan of full support in its struggle for peace and stability.

On Saturday, the minister had called upon Pakistani FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi. In a tweet, Dr Mohammad Faisal, Spokesman Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Pakistan shared that Saudi information minister conveyed Saudi leadership’s desire to work closely with the PTI government to attain “true potential of bilateral relations”.
