NAB Lahore team reaches Islamabad Airport to arrest Captain (R) Safdar

ISLAMABAD:  – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has reached Islamabad Airport to arrest Captain  (R) Safdar in the Panama Papers case, private TV Channel has reported.

NAB on Sunday decided to arrest Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) MNA, and former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law, Captain (r) Safdar tonight.

The letter informing the National Assembly secretary about the possible arrest has been written. The letter states that a reference has been filed in Islamabad accountability court against Captain (r) Safdar and the accountability court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants against him.

Therefore, the letter states, Captain (r) Safdar will arrested tonight. It is pertinent to mention here that Captain (r) Safdar will arrive in Islamabad from London tonight.
