Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Kashmir is not a matter of land, but human rights. Addressing a ceremony after inaugurating Kartarpur Corridor on Saturday, he said that the sub-continent can make progress if the Kahsmir issue is resolved.
“The Kashmir issue has crossed the regional limits. It has become an issue of human rights. Kashmiris have been deprived of human rights,” he said.
The prime minister said that the Kashmir dispute can be resolved through talks.
“Indian PM Narendra Modi had talked about ending poverty. Former PM Manmohan Singh has said that the sub-continent could make progress if the Kashmir dispute is resolved,” he said.
