Moscow meeting on Afghanistan today
Delegations from twelve countries are gathering in Moscow today to explore ways for peace in Afghanistan.
On the eve of the meeting, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova said, the multilateral conference will discuss how to achieve peace and national reconciliation in Afghanistan.
A five-member delegation from the Qatar-based “political office” of the Taliban is also taking part in the meeting.
Pakistan, United States, China, Iran, India, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are among other participants.
