How Donald Trump as President would affect Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Renowned analyst Hassan Askari said on Wednesday Donald Trump's victory in American presidential election was unexpected and now the focus has been shifted on his policies.
Talking to a private news channel (Geo TV), he said anti-muslim rhetoric that Trump has been using in his election campaign will be in great focus now in the light of his policies.
He said that it will be significant that how America and other public departments are going to react to his policies.
"Trump was a hardliner in his rhetoric and America's South Asian allies are in uncertainty for now. I hope things will be clear after his team selection in next 6 months", he added.
Former Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Qasuri said on wednesday that Pakistan, now, needs a pro-active foreign policy towards United States of America.
Talking to a private news channel, Khurshid Qasuri has said that political party's policy keeps on changing with the passage of time and according to the situation.
He said that USA administration will definitely want to have good relations with us and their policy towards South Asia will be of utmost important for Pakistan.
