Former PM Imran Khan declared as ‘security risk’ who wants to control Pakistan’s nuclear programme
*ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has termed former prime minister Imran Khan a security risk, saying that he himself is imported one and has been sent under a specific agenda.*
Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Monday, he said that Imran Khan wants to control the country's nuclear programme after attacking the institutions.
"Imran Khan himself is the biggest Mir Jaffar and Mir Sadiq. Firstly, he violated the constitution and now he wants to attack the security institutions. It is an attempt to create a rift in the security institutions," he maintained.
He said that the opposition alliance had de-seated the prime minister through a constitutional process. "Imran Khan himself proved to be helpful in the no-confidence motion against him. His insulting attitude with his allied and the opposition was helpful in the success of the no-confidence motion," he added.
Khawaja Asif said that Imran Khan had no achievement except inflation. "We have to compensate for the four-year destruction in the next 14 months," he added.
