ISLAMABAD - Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) anti terrorist wing arrests Pakistan government officer working as RAW agent.
Anti-Terrorism Wing team has conducted a successful operation and arrested a RAW agent from Karachi. The accused is a 17th grade government employee.
According to the details, the FIA arrested Asif Siddiqui, a key member of Raw Sleeper Cell from Karachi, who was shifted to an unknown location for further investigation.
Mobile phones, laptops and other important documents have been recovered from the possession of the accused. The accused was in touch with his accomplices at the time of the raid.
The accused used to send information of security agencies, pictures and details of the sensitive places to India via e-mail.
FIA officials claim that the accused Asif Siddiqui was also involved in transfer of arms and ammunition and he is also affiliated with MQM’s London group.
The accused Asif Siddiqui used to work in the SITE area of Karachi, important revelations are expected during the further investigation.
