Cricket fans in Pakistan may have another good news in near future

ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is inviting the Ireland cricket team to tour Pakistan later this year. It is expected that Ireland team would likely visit Pakistan.

Ireland are set to play their first-ever Test against Pakistan, which will start from May 11 in Dublin.

PCB chairman Najam Sethi will be present at the venue for the historic event.

Sethi will officially invite the Ireland cricket team for the tour of Pakistan during the match.

Ireland agreed to tour Pakistan in 2014, but later refused because of the attack on the Karachi airport.

Later, it were Zimbabwe who became the first major international side to tour the country after the attack on Sri Lankan team bus in 2009.

Since then, the International Cricket Council (ICC) World XI, Sri Lanka and West Indies have visited the country for T20I matches.
