Afghan Taliban kill Atleast 16 Army soldiers in attack on military checkposts

TAKHAR: The local officials confirmed that at least 16 security personnel were killed in Khwaja Ghar district in Takhar province after Taliban militants attacked security check posts.
The officials added that the 10 Afghan soldiers and six policemen were among the deceased.
According to Afghan media outlet, Taliban group claimed the responsibility of the attack and killing the security personnel in Khwaja Ghar district.
Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah praised the sacrifices of Afghan forces in defending the country.
