Gojra-Shorkot, Shorkot-Khanewal sections of Motorway completions status

ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Shaikh Aftab Ahmad Wednesday apprised the National Assembly that 40 per cent work on Gojra-Shorkot and Shorkot-Khanewal sections have already been completed.
Responding to a Calling Attention Notice raised by Malik Muhammad Aamir Dogar and others regarding delay in commencement of construction work on Gojra-Shorkot and Shorkot-Khanewal sections of the Motorways by National Highway Authority, he said both the section would be completed by March 31, 2018 and December 2018 respectively.
He said the sections were being constructed on priority basis and would cost Rs.8.3 billion and Rs.8.8 billion respectively.
