100 Judges transfered, Posted

PESHAWAR:  Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Yahya Afridi has ordered the posting and transfer of judges in 29 districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). Among them are district and sessions judges, additional sessions judges (ASJ), senior civil judges, as well as civil judges.

According to the official notification, 29 district and sessions judges – including Muhammad Tariq Wali, Ikramullah Khan, Sardar Muhammad Irshad, Babar Ali Khan, Muhammad Sabir, Aurangzeb Khan Rozeena Rahman – have been asked to report to the PHC.

The chief justice has transferred and posted Ishtiaq Ahmad as accountability court judge Peshawar, Azhar Khan as labour court judge Haripur, Kamal Shah as central anti-corruption judge, Shahid Khan as anti-terrorism court (ATC) judge Lower Dir, Hamid Mughal as ATC judge Swat, Younis Khan as ATC judge Kohat and Farah Jamshid as consumer court judge Haripur.

Abdul Ghafoor Qureshi has been transferred and posted as consumer court judge Mardan, Muhammad Iqbal as consumer court judge Malakand, Madad Khan as special court judge banking affairs, Muhammad Hussain as banking court judge Peshawar, Mehbubul Hasan as ATC judge Peshawar.

Muhammad Amin has been posted as service tribunal member Peshawar, Naseem Akbar as accountability court judge Peshawar, Muhammad Zafar as district and sessions court judge Upper Dir, Nusrat Yasmeen as narcotic control court judge and Amir Nazir as consumer court judge DI Khan.

Aqil Shah has been posted as consumer court judge Peshawar, Ashfaq Taj as district and sessions judge Torghar, Sohail Shiraz Nursani as the K-P Judicial Academy’s senor director research and publications, Amir Nazir Bhatti as district and sessions judge Kohistan and Muhammad Naseem as Banking Court II judge Peshawar.

Kalim Arshad Khan is posted as the ASJ Peshawar, Ihsanullah Khan as anti-corruption judge Bannu, Jehanzeb Shinwari as ASJ Buner, Azhar Shah as ASJ Bahrain, Jehangir Khan as ASJ Peshawar, Naeem Iqbal as ASJ Charsadda, Fazal Sattar as ASJ Paharpur and Farah Attaullah as ASJ Mansehra.

Among other ASJs, Shehnaz Hameed is posted in Abbottabad, Kasoom Azam in Mansehra, Ambareen Naveed in Lakki Marwat, Raffat Amir to PHC, Hidayatullah Khan to Nowshera, Abdul Baseer to Kohat and Malik Amjid Rahim to PHC.

ASJ Haq Nawaz has been posted in Nowshera, Abdul Jabbar at Banda Daud Shah, Sumbal Naseer at Dargai Malakand, Faryal Zia Mufti in Peshawar, Dost Muhammad in Nowshera, Badruddin in Haripur, Saeed Amjad in Peshawar and Liaquat Ali in DI Khan.

Mohsin Ali Turk, Amjid Makhdoom, Qaiser Rahim, Manzoor Qadir have been posted at the PHC while Ziaur Rahman has been posted as the K-P Judicial Academy’s director instructions.

Senior civil judges have also been transferred and posted. Ijaz Ahmad is posted in Kohistan, Wali Muhammad in Abbottabad, Kamal Hussain Shah in Peshawar, Azimullah Mashwani in Bannu, Safeer Qaiser Malik in Lower Dir, Adil Akbar at the PHC, Rasheed Rauf in Upper Dir and Shah Hussain at thePHC.

Sadia Andaleeb has been posted in Charsadda, Nusrat Naz in Kohat, Muhammad Asim in Nowhsera, Suhail Hameed in Mardan, Shabana Mehsud in Swabi, Nadia Sayyed in Swat, Wadiha Mushtaq in DI Khan, Tufair Ahmad in Buner, Lubna Zaman in Mansehra, Iftikhar Shah in Malakand, Hamid Qasim in Lakki Marwat, Abid Zaman in Chitral while Ahmad Ihsanullah in Tank.
