Pakistan Railways has announced a Special Eid Package for passengers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The package was approved at a meeting held in Lahore today with Railways Minister Khawaja Muhammad Rafique in the chair.
Under the package, five special trains will be run from 23rd to 28th of this month while fares will also be reduced by 33 percent for two days.
In addition to special trains, additional coaches will also be added to existing trains for the convenience of passengers.
The first special train will leave Karachi for Peshawar on 23rd of this month while second train will leave Quetta for Rawalpindi on next day.
Third train will leave Karachi for Lahore and two special trains will be run between Rawalpindi and Multan.
