India ready for "two and half front war": Indian Army Chief

India ready for

India is ready for a “two-and-a-half front war”, said Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Thursday while referring to Pakistan, China and internal security threats.

During an interview with Asian News International (ANI), Rawat accused Pakistan of using social media to create unrest in Indian-occupied Kashmir. He further claimed the situation in IOK would “improve soon”.

“Pakistan is spreading disinformation among the youth of Kashmir with doctored videos and messages. This is further supported by some of the people in the Valley who spread it and glamorise the young boys who have joined terrorist organisations,” claimed Rawat, according to Hindustan Times.

Rawat last month indicated retaliatory action against Pakistani forces over the alleged mutilation of Indian soldiers’ along the Line of Control (LoC). Without directly replying to questions, Rawat said, “We do not talk about future plans beforehand. We share details after execution of the plan.”

“When this kind of action takes place, we also carry out retaliatory action,” he added while addressing the media, Press Trust of India reported.
