*RAWALPINDI: Former premier Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar has been granted B-class facilities in Adiala prison, ARY News reported. *
Sources said the PML-N leader underwent a medical examination inside prison and was declared to have good health.
The jail authorities allowed the PML-N leaders B-class facilities, also known as executive class facilities, whereby he will be kept in an air-conditioned cell and will have access to a fridge and television.
A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team shifted Safdar to Adiala after producing him before Accountability Judge Muhammad Bashir on Monday morning.
On Sunday evening, NAB arrested Safdar in Rawalpindi where he led a rally of PML-N supporters for hours and later shifted him to its regional office in the twin cities.
The PML-N leader requested NAB officials to let him reach a nearby party office along the rally where he said he would formally surrender.
