Eminent analysts say the United States cannot survive in Afghanistan without Pakistan`s cooperation.

Talking to News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan on Monday, international relations expert Dr Amna Mahmood said the recent statement by US defence secretary reveals that officials within US administration are still looking forward for coordination and cooperation with Pakistan.

Replying to a question about the article appearing in New York Times criticizing the US decision, Dr Amna said the paper has taken a realistic view as there is no doubt that if Pakistan stops its logistic support the US will be unable to operate in Afghanistan.

Expressing his views senior defence analyst retired Brigadier Sayed Nazeer said it is Pakistan which has not only suffered most from terrorism but also stands out victorious in eliminating the menace from its soil.
