MUMBAI: The hottest couple of Bollywood- Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone – spent quality time in each other’s company along with their respective parents on a peaceful resort of Sri Lanka.
According to an Indian website, the birthday of the ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ actress became special occasion as the actress got double the fun as she received gifts from Singh’s parents.
The couple gathered for the actress birthday on January 5.
According to sources, the families who spent the holidays in Sri Lanka along with the duo, have consented to their relationship with the engagement might be in the offing.
The sources find Bhavnanis quite fond of Prakash Padukone’s daughter and the Padukones love Ranveer as their son.
The Indian website reported, “Deepika was gifted an expensive diamond set and a Sabyasachi sari by Ranveer’s family for her birthday. Her happiness knew no bounds. This was indeed a special occasion for the actress.”
Meantime, Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone had already expressed his liking for Ranveer and said he was okay with their relationship.
When asked to comment on Ranveer’s remarks calling Deepika “marriage material” on a chat show, the actress’ father said, “As a father, I have given Deepika the freedom to take her own decisions. Even in this case, she is free to decide whatever she wants to do.”
