Punjab Film Censor Board approves new Bollywood film for release

ISLAMABAD – Punjab Film Censor Board has approved Indian film ‘Mukkabaaz’ for a theatrical release acorss Punjab on January 12.
Directed, co-written and co-produced by Anurag Kashyap, ‘Mukkabaaz’ stars Jimmy Shergill, Ravi Kishan, Vineet Kumar Singh and Zoya Hussain among other others.
Reportedly, film censor board has permitted Indian producers to release the movie in Pakistan.
Former prime minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif had approved information, broadcasting and heritage ministry last January to lift ban on Indian films which was enacted in 2008.
The film is about a young boxer belonging to a caste that Indian society ranks the lowest, who struggles to make a mark in the sport.
