Plan in place to divide PTI ahead of general elections

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed Wednesday claimed that there is planning to divide Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Talking to the media persons from the court, he said that they have decided to disqualify the PTI chief Imran Khan at any cost.

He lamented that nobody is yet interrogated him about his case rather he is always being talked about politically.

Shaikh Rashid disclosed that three people came to meet him in the jail and asked him to leave Imran Khan. He said the establishment wanted to create another party from within PTI.

“They told me that they would not allow Imran Khan to come in the power under any circumstances,” he added.

AML chief revealed that he was told that the provincial assembly and center elections would be held together. “I am blindfolded when someone comes to visit me, he added.

Shaikh Rashid told the reporters that he was even taken from jail once during his judicial remand. He said that he was kept in class -C in jail. He asked his lawyer not to lose heart.
