Govt focusing to improve basic infrastructure to promote tourism: Masood

Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan says the government is focusing on improvement of basic infrastructure, including roads and other communication means to promote tourism in Azad Kashmir.

Talking to political and social leader Haji Rashid Khan from Poonch division, he said Rawalakot and other scenic spots in the region are being developed on modern lines.

The AJK President said construction work on Khai Gala, Toli Pir and Lass Dana roads is in final process.

He said construction of these roads will not only provide better travelling facilities to the public but also promote tourism in the region.

Sardar Masood Khan said special attention is being given to provision of drinking water supply schemes and all barriers will be removed in completion of Chak Dhamni hospital.

On this occasion, the delegation briefed the president about different issues being faced by people of the region.

The AJK President assured the delegation that all their   genuine problems would be addressed on priority basis.
