North Korea holds military parade ahead of Winter Olympics

North Korea held a military parade in Pyongyang today to mark the 70th anniversary of its armed forces just a day before the Winter Olympics open in South Korea.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who also attended the parade, said we have become capable of showcasing our stature as a world-class military power to the world.
He said the military should remain on high alert to ensure that invaders could not violate North Korea's sovereignty.APP/AFP
