Indian Army 3 soldiers hit in Pakistan Rangers retaliatory fire at LoC

ISLAMABAD - Three Indian Army soldiers were injured in retaliatory firing by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, officials said Friday.

Indian Defence officials said intermittent firing was underway when reports last came in, reports PTI.

The Pakistan Army started retaliatory firing along the LoC in the Krishnagati sector of Poonch district. In the firing and shelling, three jawans suffered splinter injuries, they said.

Earlier reports surfaced of civilians injured on Pakistan side in shelling by the Indian troops along the LoC in the KG sector of Poonch.
