Suicide attack on Afghanistan Army bus kills three soldiers and injures several


KABUL: A suicide bomber attacked an Afghan Army bus in Dehdadi district close to the provincial capital Mazar-i-Sharif.

 

Ministry of Defense claimed that at least 3 people were killed and 14 wounded in the attack.

 

The incident took place when bus slowed down for a speed braker in Dehdadi district.


Taliban claimed the responsibility for attack in a statement released online.



 



Buses carrying military and government employees have been common targets for Taliban in insurgency hit Afghanistan.

 

Afghan forces are suffering record casualties throughout the country since NATO ended its combat mission in December 2014. Afghan Taliban have intensified attacks on Afghan Forces after the spring offensive which continued surprisingly throughout the winters.
