President World Bank arrives in Islamabad today to discuss Pakistan fiscal issues



ISLAMABAD: World Bank President Jim Yong Kim has arrived on two-day visit in Pakistan. According to Finance Ministry, several agreements of financing between World Bank and Pakistan will be singed at this occasion.

 

As per details, the visiting dignitary will also meet PM Nawaz Sharif, Federal Minister for Finance, Provincial CMs, IDPs Students and representatives of private sectors during his visit. 

 

World Bank president Jim Yong said upon his arrival that Pakistan has achieved economic stability and now Pakistani government is trying to provide employment to the youth. 

 

He further added that World Bank will continue its role with the coordination of Pakistan for the elimination of unemployment while bilateral cooperation will also strengthen in economic sector.
