PM Nawaz Sharif appreciates efforts of outgoing British HC in improving Pak-Britain bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan gives a lot of importance to its relations with United Kingdom (UK) and wants to promote trade and investment cooperation with Britain.
As per details, PM Nawaz was talking with outgoing British High Commissioner Philip Barton on his farewell meeting here in Islamabad. PM Nawaz lauded the role of Philip Barton to enhance and improve bilateral ties between both countries during his tenure.
Speaking at this occasion, British outgoing HC Philip said that Britain has friendly and brotherly relations with Pakistan and the Pakistanis living in United Kingdom have played a key role in bringing both countries closer.
