Former FIA Director sent on judicial remand

ISLAMABAD: (APP) A Special Court Central Islamabad Friday sent the former director of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on judicial remand in a case regarding dual nationality.
Special Judge Central Malik Nazir heard the case against the former FIA officer Sajjad Haider.
The accused was produced before the court by the FIA.
FIA arrests three human smugglers
The FIA officials requested the court to grant physical remand of Sajjad Haider, which was rejected by the court.
The former director FIA was arrested on Thursday after the cancelation of his interim bail in the above case.
The FIA had registered a case against the accused for holding dual nationality.
