ISLAMABAD – The federal government’s move for documentation of economy is paying off.
According to report, investors sold Rs 40,000 bonds during June 2019.
The selling step up in Rs 40,000 bonds amounted to Rs 65 billion in June 2019, and investment in 40,000 bonds now stands around Rs 194 billion from Rs 259 billion.
Rs 25,000 bonds saw small dip of Rs 1 billion to Rs 160 billion. Overall investment in bonds reduced to Rs 886 billion from Rs 951 billion in May. Investment in registered 40,000 bonds is up by Rs 1.5 billion to Rs 7.6 billion.
