CM Punjab visits PHA, Raja Bazaar Shelter Home

RAWALPINDI: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi and Raja Bazaar Shelter Home.

During his visit to the Shelter Home he said, the government was making all out efforts to provide relief to citizens.

He shook hands with people residing there and talked to them. The people expressed satisfaction at the arrangements.

Talking to media persons, the CM five Shelter Homes had been established in Lahore while the same would be established in all 36 districts of the province.

Usman Buzdar informed that Ramadan package would be announced soon to facilitate the citizens. Price Control Committees had been formed to check and control the prizes particularly of daily use items, he added.

The Punjab government was monitoring the performance of the provincial ministers, he said adding, he would again visit Rawalpindi city in few days.

On the occasion, Punjab Minister for Housing, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Minister of Punjab for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Literacy and Non-formal Education, Raja Rashid Hafeez, Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Muhammad Arif Abbasi, Chairman PHA, Asif Mehmood, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Regional Police Officer Ishaq Jahangir, City Police Officer, Abbas Ahsan and other district officers were present.

Later, the CM visited PHA office where he was briefed about the ongoing projects of the authority and Clean and Green program by the Chairman PHA, Asif Mahmood.
