NAB Prosecutor, Nawaz Sharif lawyer brawl inside Accountability Court

ISLAMABAD – NAB Prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar and Nawaz Sharif’s counsel Khawaja Haris exchanged heated argument during the hearing of Avenfield Reference on Monday.
Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir is hearing the Avenfield Reference case.
NAB Prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar said that Khawaja Haris was asking unnecessary questions. The deputy prosecutor also remarked that Nawaz Sharif has accepted that he works for firm Capital FZE. Khawaja Haris said that different questions are asked to make sure truth comes out.
Prosecutor’s witness Wajid Zia told that there were copies of Nawaz Sharif’s Iqama in Joint Investigation Report. He requested the court to open serial number 8 and make them part of court’s record.
The witness in Avenfield reference case Wajid Zia said that the documents of Iqama are in serial number 10 instead of 8.
Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer asked the question that these documents were taken from Gornica. Wajid Zia said that he would comment after watching the documents. Court gave Wajid Zia permission to see documents.
