NEW DELHI - 'Believe in science and not bursting cocnouts faith', Former BJP leader mocks India’s ISRO scientists over mission failure to moon landing.

Indian Congress leader Udit Raj mocked the faith of the scientists of ISRO.

Writing in Hindi, the former BJP MP who joined Congress wrote: “If scientists had believed in scientific strength and disciple rather than bursting cocnouts and worshiping, then the partial failure wouldn’t have been seen.”

While on the other side many scientists have religious views.

The scientist who formulated the Big Bang Theory was Georges Lematire, a Belgian astronomer who was also a Catholic priest.

In fact, many noted physicists have felt that the tenets of Hinduism were in sync with modern physics. Interestingly, Shiva, who is also known as Nataraj and symbolises the ‘life force’, has a statue at CERN, Switzerland, home to the Large Hadron Collider and one of the premiere research institutes in the world
