NAB takes assistance from UAE over Ishaq Dar reference
LAHORE  – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to take assistance from United Arab Emirates (UAE) over reference against Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar in Panama Leaks case.

According to NAB representative, the challan against Sharif family and Ishaq Dar is interim due to lack of evidence. He said that a letter, seeking mutual legal assistance from UAE officials has been sent to NAB headquarters by Lahore bureau.

NAB has also given importance to the proofs gathered by Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT).

The authorities said that Ishaq Dar had recorded his statement before JIT in short time while he also refrained from appearing in NAB.

Earlier, the executive board of NAB approved four references against Sharif family and Ishaq Dar over Panamagate issue. Ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his children Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz along with his son-in-law Captain Safdar were officially nominated accused in the references.
