Pakistani Ambassador once again raised Occupied Kashmir lockdown at the United Nations
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has urged the United Nations to address Indian brutalities in curfew-bound Occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan's outgoing representative to the UN Maleeha Lodhi addressing a debate on Advancement of Women in the General Assembly said that "cruel" and persisting India's lockdown in occupied Kashmir have exacerbated the suffering of women and children.
Ambassador Lodhi drew attention of the world body to the plight of women and their families living under foreign occupation especially in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
She emphasized the world nations to urgently address that dire and unacceptable situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Maleeha Lodhi reaffirmed Pakistan's firm commitment to the goal of empowering women in all situations to create a more just, equitable and peaceful world.
