*ISLAMABAD - Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah lands in hot waters as the Supreme Court of Pakistan will hear a petition on Monday (today) seeking his disqualification.*

*A petition has been filed against him over allegedly holding a foreign work permit (Iqama).*

An appeal against a Sindh High Court ruling that rejected a petition seeking disqualification of Murad Ali Shah for failing to disclose his Canadian nationality and United Arab Emirates Iqama to the Election Commission of Pakistan.

A three-member bench, led by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar will hear the appeal in Islamabad. The other two members of the bench are Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Ijazul Ahsan.

Petitioner Roshan Ali Buriro in his plea said, Murad Ali Shah, while concealing his UAE work permit and lying in front of the electoral body, is no more truthful and honest, thus he should be declared disqualified.
