ISLAMABAD - United States will investigate allegations of military weapons inappropriate use.
The United States says it will investigate allegations of its weapons being used inappropriately in Iraq.
Amid a mounting death toll of protesters in Iraq, Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman told reporters that the US has a very stringent use requirements for its military weapons.
He further said that it will investigate that the weapons are not being used in the manner they were intended.
Hoffman said Defense Secretary Mark Esper has sought assurances from Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali al-Hakim and Defense Minister Erfan al-Hiyali that the peaceful protests would be observed peacefully.
