ISLAMABAD: Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Sartaj Aziz has said that new dams need to be built to help meet future water requirements of the country.
He was addressing a national consultation workshop on climate-resilient development in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Sartaj Aziz said 10% of the PSDP for the next financial year has been earmarked for development of water recourse.
Speaking on the occasion, Country Director World Bank Illango said Pakistan is seventh most effected country by climate change. AFP
