Justice Muneeb Akhtar takes oath as SC Judge

ISLAMABAD: Justice Muneeb Akhtar has taken sworn as a Supreme Court judge on Tuesday.
The oath taking ceremony was held in SC building Islamabad in which Supreme Court judges, advocate generals, officials of Pakistan Bar and senior lawyers attended the ceremony.
Prior to his appointment in Supreme Court, Justice Muneeb was serving as judge in the Sindh High Court (SHC) and in terms of seniority he was ranked at number-4 in SHC.
A summary pertaining to the matter was signed after the recommendations of judicial commission and parliamentary committee.
