Special Court formed to resume hearing of Musharraf treason trial

ISLAMABAD: A special court was formed Thursday to resume hearings in the high-treason trial against former president General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf.
According to details, the bench will be headed by Quetta High Court judge Justice Tahira Safdar and will include Sindh High Court’s Justice Nazir Akbar and Lahore High Court judge Justice Shahid Kareem.
The Special Court became ineffective due to retirement of Justice Yawar Ali.
