Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in hot waters

LAHORE – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique is in hot waters over the issue of the Paragon Housing Society case head in Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday summoned Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on March 10 in a suo motu case pertaining to LDA City.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was hearing suo motu case pertaining to LDA City at the apex court’s Lahore registry.

During the proceedings, the court ordered Khawaja Saad Rafique to appear on March 10 in connection with Paragon City issue.

The court also summoned Investigation Officer of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
