How a US drone strike in Afghanistan saved Pakistan from big disaster

ISLAMABAD- 20 suicide bombers were killed in the drone strike including Mullah Fazlullah’s son in Afghanistan's kunar area. The suicide bombers were preparing to launch massive attacks inside Pakistan.

*The son of Mullah Fazlullah, chief of Pakistan’s Tehreek-i-Taliban, and 19 other insurgents were killed in a US drone strike in Afghanistan on Wednesday morning.*

TTP has confirmed the drone attack on its facility in eastern Kunar province and the killing of Abdullah, son of Mullah Fazlullah.

The report said that in a text message sent to the media in Bajaur Agency on Wednesday evening, the insurgent group said that 20 suicide bombers were killed, and six others wounded in the drone attack.

They said that a drone fired missiles at Ghazi Camp run by TTP in Kunar near the Pakistani border, Dawn News reported adding that the TTP commander of Bajaur chapter, Gul Mohammad, who was head of Ghazi Camp, was also killed in the attack.

Another commander named Ustad Yaseen, who trained suicide bombers, was also among the dead.

A Pakistani intelligence official said the drone struck on the day the training of the bombers was about to be completed.
